Net Prophet is a woven serigraph painting by Austin-based artist Adreon Henry, constructed from industrial-grade vinyl strips layered with screen printed imagery of a $50 bill and random numbers. Built through a process of weaving, painting, and sanding across multiple layers, the surface becomes a coded field—part pattern, part message—where meaning shifts as the work reveals and conceals its own history.
Dark blues ground the composition while flashes of orange, red, and green emerge through the worn surface like signals breaking through static. Hidden inside the piece is an actual $50 bill, embedded within the weave—blurring the line between representation and reality, value and illusion.
