Self-Hypnosis

This piece was inspired by an old 1970s self hypnosis album I have been carrying around since the late 90s. It is part of the Auspicious Premonition show. It's never been opened so it holds onto the idea of possibility that it could work. 

This piece is hand screened on two pieces of clear industrial grade vinyl then cut and woven over a custom made wooden frame. After the woven process, the piece is then painted in a variety of acrylic coats of paint. After it dries, I then sand it down so the silkscreen image is visible. It is then coated is a water based poly.
